Frantz Ward's Higher Education practice group deals daily with the broad range of issues confronting colleges and universities. Our services range from specific assistance in specialized areas such as the hiring of faculty members to broad general counsel on all the various legal issues confronting higher education today. We regularly assist in providing counsel concerning business transactions, construction projects, real estate, acquisition and divestiture, labor and employment issues, taxable and tax-exempt financings, intellectual property, general corporate governance, investment and financing counseling, student judicial affairs matters, and faculty tenure issues. An important component of the practice is the training programs we have developed for the benefit of higher education clients to take into account the very specialized needs of colleges and universities.
