Greenberg Traurig’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice includes more than 90 trial attorneys representing clients in complex litigation in courts across the country. We regularly serve as national, regional, special trial, or science counsel - in both mass torts and individual cases - to leading global companies that produce innovative, life-saving products. We draw on the experience of our colleagues in related disciplines to provide strategic regulatory counsel to our pharmaceutical and medical device clients at every stage, from developing preventative measures to limit or minimize potential products liability exposure, to investigating claims, to settlement, mediation, or defending at trial. We frequently try cases to verdict - and have the in-house legal and technological capabilities to efficiently handle dockets of cases numbering in the thousands, often collaborating with other defense counsel to coordinate strategy and pool case resources in large litigations. Our team, which includes in-house medical, nursing, and technology consultants, designs custom and tactical litigation plans based on our clients’ unique needs and best interests. Our depth of resources and stable of both highly experienced senior lawyers and “next generation” leaders, enables us to work efficiently to resolve or defend all matters, from single claims to high-stakes “bet the company” cases.
