Commercial Litigation

Harwood Lloyd’s commercial litigators routinely handle complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts. These matters, ranging from residential and commercial foreclosures to complex shareholder and franchise litigation, require experience, expertise, and a goal-oriented approach. We work closely with our clients to ensure a successful strategy, with an eye toward the economics at issue in each matter. Harwood Lloyd’s commercial litigation group has the expertise to represent business clients in specialized areas such as lenders’ and other creditors’ rights litigation, environmental law, employment law, real estate tax appeals, and litigation stemming from zoning and land use law.

We are constantly mindful that our clients are anxious about the litigation process, the cost, and the result. As such, our commercial litigation team attempts to first resolve disputes without the need for protracted litigation, both informally and through alternative dispute resolution proceedings. However, when pre-litigation dispute resolution is not possible, Harwood Lloyd’s commercial litigation team is prepared and equipped to aggressively prosecute or defend our clients’ rights in state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
