Led by Kristen Caverly with Maria Pum and Lisa Roper, the Civil & Commercial Litigation Practice Group have represented Fortune 100 companies in breach of contract actions, financial institutions in the enforcement of creditors’ remedies, publicly held corporations in unfair trade practice litigation, private interests in real property disputes, individuals and employers in wrongful termination cases, and many other types of clients in a host of other disputes and proceedings.

In addition to its broad range of experience, what sets the Civil and Commercial Litigation Group at Henderson, Caverly & Pum, LLP apart from litigation practices at other law firms is the amount of actual trial experience—including jury trial experience—that its attorneys have had. While many disputes can and should be settled through diligence and negotiation, it is nevertheless a reality of litigation that sometimes a client will need to present his, her or its case in court. Having counsel that is willing and able to take a dispute to trial means that the client will be in a better position to prevail over his, her or its adversary, perhaps without the need to go to trial.
