Irell & Manella LLP’s debt finance group handles debt transactions that achieve the capital structure goals and facilitate the business plans of companies in all stages of development, from start-ups to multi-billion dollar public companies.  Our attorneys have advised lenders (including senior, mezzanine and subordinated) and underwriters, issuers and borrowers, note purchasers, lessees, lessors and trustees, on billions of dollars of secured and unsecured debt finance transactions, public and private, including syndicated credit facilities, high-yield, second-lien and other debt securities issuances, intercreditor arrangements, LBOs, tender and exchange offers, and structured finance, asset-based lending, leasing, recapitalization, reorganization and restructuring transactions.  We bring extensive deal experience, knowledge of commercial law and practical know-how to every transaction.

In the Minority Law Journal's Diversity Scorecard for 2010 for racially diverse firms, Irell ranked as one the top 30 most diverse firms in the country out of approximately 250 surveyed.

The Minority Law Journal's Diversity Scorecard for 2009 ranked Irell as the firm with the highest percentage of openly gay and lesbian lawyers in the country.
