Firm Appeals.  The firm has achieved an excellent record of success on appeals. Combining specialization with diversification, we use our expertise on appeals and complex trial and post-trial motions in almost every area of litigation--commercial, corporate, insurance, long term care, malpractice, birth trauma, and employment.

Referred Appeals Assessments and Practice.  In addition to litigating state and federal court appeals in cases tried by our firm, we have been extremely effective in handling referred appeals for cases managed at the trial level by other firms. Our role in referred appeals ranges from hands-on management of the entire appeal, beginning with post-trial motions, to providing consultation or opinions evaluating the merits and risks of appeal. Our in-depth assessments of appeal opportunities take into account technical legal issues, experience in similar cases, knowledge of the judiciary, and common sense.
