Real Estate, Corporate Law
Leech Tishman’s Real Estate Practice Group is skilled in handling a broad range of sophisticated and complex commercial real estate transactions involving purchases, sales, leases, development, financing, construction and tax credit structures. Representing buyers, sellers, lenders, developers and investors in areas such as architecture, automotive, banking/finance, commercial/multi-family/residential real estate, construction, environmental/brownfield development, government, non-profit healthcare, higher education, hospitality, manufacturing, public companies and infrastructure, telecommunications, retail, technology and utilities, our Real Estate Practice Group assists clients from the ground-up. We are focused on closing client deals involving everything from housing developments to industrial parks and office buildings, to shopping centers and mixed-use projects.
Our Real Estate team regularly utilizes the skills of the firm’s other practice groups, and in particular, our Government Relations and Taxation teams. As so many real estate and development transactions involve a government component, the experience of our Government Relations team ensures that we are positioned to offer high-quality representation and address any potential legal issues before they become roadblocks to successful completion of transactions and developments. Similarly, in the challenging financing market existing today, state and federal tax credit programs have become a critical catalyst. The knowledge of our Taxation team enables us to help develop and close these complex transactions.
