Appellate Practice

The attorneys of Levene Gouldin & Thompson's Appellate Group have unique qualifications and experience in appellate matters. Our group includes former jurists and judicial clerks, as well as attorneys experienced with presenting previously litigated matters to reviewing judges and judicial panels at all levels. As a result, our Appellate Group is capable of handling appeals in a variety of matters, both civil and criminal.

Our Appellate Group provides representation on appeals from Federal and New York State tribunals of all types; Federal District Courts; New York State Supreme, County, Family, Surrogate's, local and small claims courts; and administrative agencies. We practice at the Appellate Division of all four Judicial Departments, the New York Court of Appeals, the Federal Court's Second and Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
