Family Law

Jonathan (Jon) Miller heads our family law practice group. Jon has substantial experience with family law matters, litigating hundreds of dissolution actions involving custody disputes, property division, child support and spousal maintenance issues. While most cases are resolved before trial, when a fair resolution cannot be reached for his clients, Jon has the experience to protect his client's rights by proceeding to trial, having tried numerous family law cases. Jon also has a substantial amount of experience handling post-dissolution motions, including motions to modify child custody, motions to modify spousal maintenance and/or child support, and motions to enforce various elements of the Judgment and Decree. In addition, Jon has represented clients in paternity actions, domestic abuse and harassment restraining order matters, legal separations, and adoption. And, if you need assistance with a Pre-nuptial agreement, Jon has experience drafting, negotiating and interpreting those agreements.
