Meagher & Geer’s litigation practice is noted internationally for embracing technological change. The Life Sciences Group is more than a collection of attorneys that focus on the life science sector. Rather, the Life Sciences Group is comprised of experienced litigators and trial attorneys, as well as attorneys with engineering and scientific degrees. For example, our team includes attorneys with undergraduate or master’s degrees in nursing and chemical engineering. Meagher & Geer offers scientists and engineer-attorneys with experience in a variety of different industry sectors, including medical devices, contraceptives, cosmetic implants, biologics, pharmaceuticals (including generic drugs) and medical equipment.

Our unique merger of science and law enables us to provide cost-effective representation as well as value-added advice for our clients and their insurance carriers. Whether single-action, multi-plaintiff, mass tort, or class action litigation, we are able to assemble a team of attorneys and staff with the requisite background, education, and industry experience to meet any client’s needs.
