Additionally, we are experienced in the defense of class action proceedings. Nelson Mullins has represented numerous clients in investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (NASD), the Securities Divisions of various states, the Comptroller of the Currency and the Justice Department. These investigations have included alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the rules governing insider trading and proxy solicitations, net capital and co-bidder issues in connection with hostile takeovers, manipulative trading practices, and a variety of other issues.

The Nelson Mullins International Practice Group operates from five offices in the Southeastern United States and has established relations with numerous law firms in other countries.
