Workouts & Portfolio Matters

The attorneys at Pircher, Nichols & Meeks have been involved in a vast number of real estate workouts, including loan, joint venture, lease and development workouts. We have represented lenders, borrowers, partners, landlords, tenants and developers. Our team has transactional real estate and tax lawyers to provide advice and experience to oversee bankruptcy and litigation issues as needed for these areas. Our workout experience includes mortgage and mezzanine loans, loan modifications, foreclosures, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, discounted loan pay-offs, loan forbearances, REO sales, joint venture modifications, buy/sells, forced sales and lease and development modifications. We have also been involved in numerous related foreclosures, bankruptcies, receivership actions, guaranty actions, and other related litigation that can arise from a defaulted transaction. The firm has also worked on numerous purchases and sales of non-performing mortgage loans and other assets, both individually and as portfolios.
