Appellate

Smith Duggan Cornell & Gollub's appellate practice group prosecutes and defends appeals in civil cases in state and federal courts. We have successfully handled numerous appeals before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit; three of us have briefed and argued cases before the Supreme Court of the United States. The firm has particular in-depth experience in the appeal of final decisions of government agencies, constitutional law issues, and product liability cases, as well as with single justice practice unique to Massachusetts.
