Legal Malpractice & Disciplinary Representation

Sullivan Ward represents bar applicants, attorneys and judges in all professional responsibility related matters.

We handle a range of matters from ethics opinions, character and fitness, requests for investigation/formal complaints before the Attorney Grievance Commission as well as Judicial Tenure Commission and legal malpractice including related appeals.

The Sullivan, Ward team includes a former Senior Associate Counsel with the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission, who investigated and prosecuted attorney misconduct on behalf of the Michigan Supreme Court. Other members of the practice are attorneys with deep knowledge of the laws of ethics, and years of experience navigating the disciplinary process of the Michigan State Bar and Bar Court, and in defending lawyers and judges before the Attorney Grievance Commission.
