Creditor/Debtor Rights & Remedies

Sullivan Ward represents partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies and a wide range of financially distressed businesses in the Midwest and across the country. We assist creditors and debtors as well as those associated with, and thereby also affected by, the problems of the troubled company.

Our attorneys have guided many businesses through difficult financial setbacks. We assist in negotiating agreements related to debt payment, litigate where necessary, and work through all requirements of bankruptcy proceedings.

We assist creditors in drafting and filing documents necessary to obtain payment on accounts receivable. We represent debtors undergoing financial reversals and help devise plans to protect their rights while working through agreed-upon arrangements and keeping creditors informed.
