Trenam Kemker's Employment Law Group represents management in all areas of employment law, including anti-discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage/hour, and covenants restricting competition or disclosure of confidential information. We have significant experience in dealing with contingent work force issues. We also work closely with our employee benefits lawyers on ERISA and other compensation issues.
The Employment Law Group offers employers a wide range of services, including day-to-day counseling on human resource issues, such as anticipated discharges, drug testing, harassment allegations, Family Medical Leave Act compliance, and requests to accommodate disabilities and religious practices. We routinely consult with clients regarding practices to help avoid litigation. In addition, we can assist employers during agency investigations by EEOC, DOL, OFCCP or DOJ, and provide advice regarding appropriate written submissions, such as EEOC position statements. We also offer training for executives, managers and human resource professionals.
The attorneys in our group come from diverse backgrounds. Their extensive practical and legal experience covers all aspects of employment law. We also have attorneys who are skilled as lead trial counsel in individual state and federal lawsuits, and others who have focused extensively on large class action discrimination claims.
