More specifically, our Group’s lawyers represented the debtor-in-possession in the Chapter 11 case of Jackson Brook Institute (Maine’s largest psychiatric hospital). Our Group’s lawyers also represented the Chapter 11 operating trustee of the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad, a freight rail system consisting of six companies in Maine and Vermont, as well as Quebec and New Brunswick, Canada. Our Group is particularly proud of the results obtained in the JBI and B&A cases, both of which gave Verrill Dana the opportunity to showcase both the breadth and depth of legal services available to its clients. In both cases, the debtors were successfully reorganized and sold as going concerns.
