Health Care Reform Compliance Team

Verrill Dana’s Health Care Reform Compliance Team was formed to help employers and health care providers meet the challenges of, and identify the opportunities created by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Health care reform presents many challenges and opportunities. We counsel non-profit hospitals and providers seeking to meet new quality measures or form accountable care organizations, employers with self-funded or insured health plans, and others in meeting these challenges and making the most of opportunities.

Our interdisciplinary team brings together leading attorneys in health care law, employee benefits, health insurance, and employment law with the goal of providing comprehensive advice to clients in the key areas affected by the law, including Medicare and Medicaid payments, expansion of health coverage, mandated health benefits, quality improvement and cost efficiency measures, disclosure and reporting requirements, health plan design and administration, clinical integration, and accountable care organizations. We can help your business comply with laws and thrive in this shifting regulatory environment.

The three federal agencies with primary responsibility for implementing and enforcing health care reform legislation have created websites dedicated to providing comprehensive information and resources related to the legislation:
