Watkins & Eager represents business entities and lenders in a wide range of public finance transactions. We are experienced in both tax-exempt and taxable bond financings and have served as bond counsel, issuer’s counsel, tax counsel, underwriter’s counsel, trustee’s counsel, letter of credit bank counsel, and borrower’s counsel. Our lawyers have represented various governmental entities in small and large bond issuances, including federal agencies, state agencies, counties, cities, towns, economic development districts, and utility districts. We have also handled complex defaulted bond issues in work-out negotiations and in bankruptcy proceedings.
