Chapter 11 Proceedings

The firm’s Chapter 11 practice is primarily focused on representation of creditors. We have represented creditors in many of the large Chapter 11 cases filed in Mississippi over the past twenty (20) years. We have also represented certain clients in Chapter 11 cases in Texas, Louisiana and Illinois. Our creditor representation includes such matters as cash collateral hearings, post-petition financing, stay litigation, section 363 asset sales and contested confirmation hearings. We also have extensive experience in defending avoidance actions and claims objections. We have prosecuted objections to discharge in individual Chapter 11 cases. We have also represented creditors’ committees and Chapter 11 Trustees. Our lawyers are familiar with the Chapter 11 bankruptcy practice throughout the State of Mississippi.
