Foreclosure

The Firm’s foreclosure practice is structured to provide services within all Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, FHA and private servicer and/or investor timelines and to comply with all applicable fee guidelines associated therewith. Weissman provides foreclosure representation for both residential and commercial properties for Judicial and Non-Judicial states and manages the file from beginning to end, ensuring that we meet state standards, investor guidelines as well as attorney-client expectations making certain of the timely completion of the Foreclosure Process.

The Firm utilizes CaseAware, LPS Desktop, Time Matters, Vendorscape, Serengeti Tracker and Lenstar as well as many other mortgage default servicing systems and can invoice via Invoice Management, IClear, Serengeti Tracker and other online billing systems.

Georgia and Tennessee

The Firm excels in fast-paced non-judicial foreclosures in both Georgia and Tennessee, for GSE and non-GSE clients. Among other things, the non-judicial team ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, as well as the various security instruments, to ensure that notices and demands are timely and properly given, titles are reviewed and cured if needed, military and bankruptcy checks are performed at least once pre-sale and at least once post-sale, that all required assignments or appointments are recorded, and that ultimately a foreclosure sale is scheduled and consummated.

Importantly, the Firm is prepared and equipped to address any matters that arise before, during, and after the sale, including loss mitigation, negotiations, receiving and responding to QWRs or debt validation requests, curing title issues, and the like.

To do so, we embrace the most advanced technology in order to provide cutting-edge benefits to our clients. Our office is fully equipped with a sophisticated, state-of-the-art case management system and our attorneys and staff have access to the latest equipment, resources, on-line research tools and electronic court filing.
