Public Agency Regulatory Compliance

The attorneys in Whiteman Osterman & Hanna’s Compliance Practice group provide Public and Private Board guidance relating to matters of governance including operational integrity, transparency and accountability.

Public and private Boards of Directors are increasingly responsible for compliance and regulatory requirements. No longer are Board members limited to providing solely strategic guidance; rather, their role has expanded to safeguarding the ethical and legal compliance of their organization.

Of recent, the Practice Group has been retained by the City University of New York and the Government Law Center of Albany Law School to provide governance training to the Boards of State and local public authorities.
