Jesse was born and raised in Anaconda, Montana, graduating from Anaconda High School in 1989. He attended college at the University of Montana in Missoula, graduating with a degree in Physics in 1993. Jesse went on to law school at the University of Montana’s School of Law, graduating in 1997.
Jesse started his law practice at Corette, Pohlman & Kebe in Butte. His practice focused on insurance defense work but also included employment law, property law, human rights violations and FELA. Jesse returned to Missoula in 2002 when he began working at the Phillips & Bohyer law firm. His practice again focused on insurance defense work. Jesse moved over to Spoon Gordon for three years before moving back to Phillips & Bohyer. In 2009, Jesse became a partner in the current firm of Bohyer, Erickson, Beaudette & Tranel, P.C. Jesse’s law practice continues to focus on insurance defense work, including coverage opinions, insurance policy analysis, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, as well as some landlord-tenant issues and plaintiff’s personal injury cases.
Jesse is admitted to practice in all Montana State and Federal District Courts, the Montana Supreme Court, the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Supreme Court and Montana Supreme Court. He is a former member and officer of the Silver Bow Bar Association. He is a current member of the State Bar of Montana, the Western Montana Bar Association, the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers’ Association and the American Bar Association.
Jesse and his wife, Erin, enjoy spending time with their daughters Brooklynn and Irelyn. They enjoy all outdoor activities western Montana has to offer, including camping, fishing, hiking and biking. Jesse also enjoys hunting with friends and family
