Biography

Robert Daigneault was named "Advocatus Emeritus" in 2015. He is also a biologist and a Fellow
Chartered Administrator. He is the owner of Daigneault, Lawyers Inc.-Daigneault, avocats inc. a Montréal law firm boutique specialized in environmental, land-use and resource law for more than 15 years. He has been involved for more than 45 years in the environmental and resource sector, successively as a biologist, a manager and a legal counsel, including 10 years with the Québec Department of Environment. He was involved in the elaboration of the ISO 14001 norm.

Mr. Daigneault is author of numerous articles and of the standard French language legal reference text on Canadian and Quebec environmental law,"L'Environnement au Québec". In 2013, he published "La gestion de l'eau au Québec", a structured overview of the Province of Quebec's legislation and regulation on water in its many forms. He is proudly offering seminars tailored to the needs of its firm clientele and to the environmental community.
