About this firm

The law office of Boston, Holt & Durham, PLLC has been serving the community since 1948 when the late William E. Boston and the late W. A. (Bud) Harwell founded the firm. Since that time, numerous members of the firm have ascended to esteemed positions of Circuit Judge, General Sessions Judge, City Judges, County Attorney, Members of the Tennessee General Assembly, and the District Attorney's Office. The firm has the only Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization in the Lawrence County area. In 1998 the firm rededicated its second fifty years to serving the community with continued honesty and integrity. The firm remains highly active in community projects and consistently supports the growth of the county and surrounding area by priding itself in serving the entire community whether it be business, individual, government, plaintiffs or defendants. The firm represents a wide and diverse field of clients as counsel for prominent local and regional companies as well as individuals. The firm provides mediation services by a Rule 31 Certified Mediator, one of the few in the local area. The firm is active in both state and federal courts in Tennessee and Northern Alabama, and is listed in Martindale-Hubbell's Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
