I have known Michael Starr since he was in high school and when his father, later Judge Starr, was a frequent opponent of mine in civil litigation before I went on the bench and have followed Mike's career closely. He has become an exceptional trial lawyer. He has been blessed with having tried many jury cases to verdict and has enjoyed considerable success on the defense side of the docket. Mr. Starr has the highest ethical standards and certainly deserves an AV rating. Read less

I am Past President of the State Bar of Texas and a lawyer for 28 years then took a District Court bench for 10 and have returned to the practice for the last 2 years. I have known Mike Starr for over 10 years. When I was a Judge he tried cases in my Court; since I have been in practice I have been associated with him in litigation. Mike Starr is an excellent lawyer of excellent competence and skill. Above all he is extremely ethical. His father is a retired District Judge. Read less
