About this firm

Connor, Evans & Hafenstein was formed on January 1, 2008, as a partnership between Daniel D. Connor, Dennis P. Evans and Kenneth S. Hafenstein. The firm then became Connor, Kimmet & Hafenstein in January of 2014 and currently exists as a partnership between Kenneth S. Hafenstein, Katie W. Kimmet and Karen D. Turano. Currently, the firm has seven lawyers and a large support staff which allows it to take care of and service the needs of our clients in various areas of the law.

Our attorneys are always available to meet with clients or to talk with clients about their cases. This availability allows our firm to make sure that our clients understand all the issues involved with their case and shows our clients that our main focus is them.

We pride ourselves on taking care of our clients and making sure our clients understand what is happening in their cases so that the best possible results are achieved.

Our founding partner, the now retired Daniel D. Connor, began his private practice as a solo practitioner in 1971. In 1995, Kenneth S. Hafenstein started practicing with Mr. Connor and has been a part of the firm as it has progressed to its current state as Connor, Kimmet & Hafenstein LLP.

Alan Miller joined the firm in 2017 after retiring from the Industrial Commission of Ohio (IC) where he had served as a hearing officer from 1987 to 2016. He focuses his practice on assisting clients with Ohio Workers’ Compensation claims and questions.
