Dolci Weiland & Sendlak is a two-practice firm established in 1990 and based in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. Its work divides between criminal defense and family law, with matters heard principally in the 18th Judicial Circuit in Wheaton and additionally in Cook, Kane, Will, and Kendall Counties.
The firm's criminal practice is led by Patrick J. Weiland, who served approximately ten years in the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office, including six years in the felony division and a period supervising the felony trial division. He previously served as municipal prosecutor for the Village of Downers Grove and as a Special Assistant State's Attorney. He has instructed at the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy and founded the county's Financial Identity Theft Task Force.
The family law practice is led by Alexander Sendlak, admitted in 2006, who prosecuted for approximately seven years in the same office across a docket ranging from traffic offenses to first degree murder before concentrating his practice in dissolution, parental responsibilities, support, and parentage matters in 2014.
