Our practice has evolved to include related areas, such as defending construction defect and construction-related personal injury claims, environmental and bankruptcy law, as well as representation of parties in commercial contract litigation. The evolution of our Firm has followed the same fundamental principles we valued in forming our firm: we know that the nature of our work requires not only skilled trial lawyers experienced in claims handling, litigation and arbitration, but also lawyers with practical experience in the industries we serve, who can help clients avoid disputes and manage risk. In our construction practice, we represent a wide-range of owners, contractors and specialty contractors. Our services include drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts, counseling on risk management and claims avoidance and, when necessary, aggressively litigating construction disputes. We also serve as primary contributors to nationally used standard contract forms. In our surety practice, we counsel and assist sureties in evaluating, defending against and mitigating claims.
