First Defense DUI/Traffic Law

George D. Johnson, founder of First Defense Traffic Law, has over 30 years experience in the practice of law. Licensed in both Missouri and Illinois, George focuses only on traffic law and traffic-related matters. He is a member of the Missouri Association Of Criminal Defense Lawyers. As founder and C.E.O. of First Defense Traffic Law he is dedicated to providing clients with quality legal representation at a reasonable price.

George graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville in 1969 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Minors in English and Secondary Education. He graduated from St. Louis University School of Law in 1972 and has over thirty years experience in trial and appellate practice. Since June 2001 he has limited his practice to D.U.I/D.W.I., traffic, and traffic-related matters.

While George's law practice is concentrated in the area known as "Traffic Law", neither the Missouri nor Illinois bars permit attorneys to advertise that they are "specialists" in their area of practice, or that an attorney who limits his or her practice to certain fields or types of cases necessarily possesses "expertise" in those areas. Before engaging the services of any attorney you should check with the bar association to verify the attorney is properly licensed and is in good standing.
