About this firm

The firm was founded in 1998 by eight partners who decided to leave established Virginia law firms to create a firm where they could combine their extensive experience in defending private and public health care facilities, health care providers and product manufacturers in an environment that allowed them to be more client centric, innovative, creative and cost efficient. Now with more than 25 attorneys, the firm has grown to a full-service firm representing individuals and corporations-from inventors to small businesses to multinational corporations in Virginia, throughout the country and abroad. The firm has an active trial practice, handling litigation matters in state and federal courts nationwide, including engaging in non-judicial dispute resolution, arbitration, mediation and administrative proceedings. Our partners are intimately involved in every matter and our associates are provided hands on opportunities early in their careers to interact with our clients so as to enhance their litigation, transactional and regulatory skills. We work as a team with our clients, leveraging individual strengths where they have the greatest impact.
