About this firm

Typically, no one wants to look for a family law or divorce attorney. If you are here, it is because there is an issue with someone you love or used to love – and that is hard. You might have been blindsided by the other person when he or she told you that the relationship was over or that a prenuptial agreement was needed before the wedding. Conversely, you may have realized that your marriage is over or that there is an unexpected pregnancy. As you begin researching attorneys, you are overwhelmed with options and hold out hope that, perhaps, you will not need one. We hope you do not need us – but if you do, we are here for you. Talking to a lawyer or even hiring a lawyer does not mean that you are making things more difficult or gearing up for a fight in court. Rather, it simply means you are educating yourself and working with solution-focused advocates. Some matters are so important that they need the expertise and guidance of Atlanta divorce attorneys who have more 100 years of combined experience. You and your family are that important.

You are not alone

Very few people openly discuss their family law issues with friends or loved ones. Going through a family law issue is often an isolating experience – but it does not have to be. Kaye, Lembeck, Hitt & French Family Law is a family law firm based on solution-focused advocacy. We help individuals and families with divorce, child custody, child support, prenuptial agreements/postnuptial agreements, alimony, enforcement of orders, modification of orders, and other family law issues. Taking care of you and your family is important to you and it is also important to us.

How can we help you?

If it matters to you, it matters to us. All of our partners are specially trained as both civil and domestic relations mediators, as well as domestic violence mediators. Our partners are also trained as arbitrators to resolve all matters, including family law disputes. All partners are also trained as Guardian Ad Litem to represent children in contested custody matters. Kaye, Lembeck, Hitt & French Family Law attorneys are solution-focused advocates who approach every case with integrity and efficiency. Every case is different, and the best solution is the one that works best for you and your family. We take the time to educate ourselves about our clients and involve our clients in the process. We provide you with a thorough analysis of your case and collaborate with you on the various strategies and options for an outcome that meets your needs. While we strive to resolve cases amicably, sometimes that is impossible for various reasons. Our lawyers are all highly experienced in court.

If your family law matter involves minor children, know that our firm has an extra level of knowledge and experience in dealing with your issues. All of Kaye, Lembeck, Hitt & French Family Law’s partners have served as Guardians ad Litem, which means we have been appointed by judges or selected by our peers to serve as a lawyer for children to ensure they are properly represented in a divorce, child custody dispute, or other matter. The Georgia courts and family law lawyers trust us to look after the needs of Georgia children; you can trust us to look after your children’s needs, too.
