At the Family Law Practice of Dena A. Kleeman and Ruth S. Kremen, our role is to educate, negotiate, mediate or litigate as the client directs, and as fits the needs and circumstances of each individual client.

Clients who require family law services may be anticipating marriage, or going through a trying period in their lives in a divorce or post-divorce situation. Our philosophy is to choose methods that assist them in the transition, helping them achieve personal growth that would otherwise not be possible.

To that end, our understanding of family law is not just legal and financial, but emotional as well. This intimate knowledge of family issues allows us to bring the very best solutions to our clients. Our entire office staff works cooperatively to bring each client the most positive outcome. From the beginning to the end of their experience with us, our clients know that we have performed not only with the utmost professionalism, but also with a personal knowledge and concern for their well-being.

We Have the Experience

Dena A. Kleeman and Ruth S. Kremen have the kind of experience that is so crucial in the practice of family law.

A Certified Family Law Specialist, Ms. Kleeman is recognized by the State Bar of California as having the requisite education and experience to represent clients in the specialized field of family law. She received training and certification as a Divorce Mediator through an approved program of the National Academy of Family Mediators. Ms. Kleeman has practiced family law full-time since her graduation from Stanford Law School in 1983.

Ruth S. Kremen has been practicing full-time family law since 1993. She has a wide background in the practice of civil litigation, including family law litigation. Ms. Kremen graduated from Georgetown University Law School in 1982, clerked for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in 1983, and entered private practice in 1984. Ms. Kremen is admitted to practice in California and Massachusetts.
