Joey is a native New Orleanian who was a Blue Jay and attended Jesuit High School and subsequently attended Louisiana State University for a technological degree where he was in the nationally renowned "Golden Band from Tigerland." Joey then attended Loyola New Orleans School of Law and later practiced in the areas of insurance defense, construction defect, premises liability, insurance coverage, property damage, and participated in various trials and arbitrations. Joey's father "Joe" was a lawyer for thirty-years in New Orleans and developed an extensive plaintiff personal injury practice by taking a unique approach to the handling of claims. Joey is married to his wife Virginia and they have three children, Caroline, Charlotte, and Daniel. Joey also is an active member of the renowned all-male dance team, The 610 Stompers and regularly dances at charity events to raise money for various causes.
