About this firm

The Law Office of James R. Snell, Jr., LLC, is dedicated to South Carolina criminal defense and to helping clients navigate investigations and charges with confidence. Founded in 2004 by James Snell—who immediately opened his own practice after graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law—the firm has represented clients in more than 4,000 matters. We explain the law, procedures, defenses, and plea options so clients can weigh risks and benefits. From the outset, we set out to improve the client experience through attentive service and clear communication. In 2017, we moved to a custom-designed facility at 123 Harmon Street in downtown Lexington.
