Sophistication

We have participated in some of the largest bankruptcy cases filed in the United States, on behalf of large and sophisticated clients with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake. Several of our attorneys also have clerked for United States Bankruptcy Judges. Prior to founding FactorLaw, William Factor was an equity partner at a large national firm headquartered in Chicago, specializing in bankruptcy and commercial litigation.

Value

At FactorLaw, we understand that legal fees are an important variable in a client’s decision-making about which law firm to hire. We realize that in most commercial disputes, it really is about “the money,” and thus a successful outcome is determined, in part, by how much a client paid in legal fees to achieve it. Our hourly rates are very competitive, and we pride ourselves on working efficiently. This allows us to work with clients to develop a fee structure that works for everyone. We also are confident enough in our abilities to accept pure or blended contingency fee arrangements: if we don’t recover for our client, we don’t get paid.
