Mr. McKendree has been assisting clients throughout Colorado for over 40 years in a wide range of matters with a focus on Employment Law. His Practice Areas include Labor and Employment, Wrongful Termination, Employment Discrimination, and Criminal Defense.

Mr. McKendree is a graduate of the University of California, at Berkley, and a graduate of law school at University of Denver, College of Law; and has been in private practice for many years since. Mr. McKendree entered law school upon completion of his service in the United States Navy where he served among other duties, as Legal Officer. Mr. McKendree’s practice since entering private practice include periods of representing several Unions in the Rocky Mountain Region, serving for years as Special Counsel then General Counsel to the Oil, Chemical, and Atomic Workers International Union; and in the early 1990’s, shifted his practice to employment law, anti-discrimination matters, complex civil trial litigation, and felony criminal defense. Although the emphasis of Mr. McKendree’s practice has been complex trial litigation representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants, he has always developed trial expertise in cases against local and municipal governments, school boards and school districts and continuing criminal defense work.

Mr. McKendree also serves as a mediator and arbitrator to resolve disputes as a professional neutral party. Additionally, he provides consultation to other attorneys who have complex litigation cases, including advising about legal strategy and federal court procedures
