Our law firm’s founder, attorney Travis Thompson, has more than 30 years of experience with settling divorces, high conflict child custody disputes and other types of cases through litigation and mediation.

Travis Thompson has been board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS) as a family law specialist since 1998. (Note that only around one in 10 Texas lawyers ever qualify for such certification.)Mr. Thompson serves the legal needs of all types of families, traditional and nontraditional, including unmarried parents, and adoptive and blended families. The firm also offers estate planning legal services, including will preparation and probate proceedings.

We prepare every case as if it were going to trial — a strategy that ensures most cases settle out of court. Travis Thompson is capably assisted by a well-trained support staff including paralegals; however, he stays involved every step of the way, from brainstorming to hearing preparation and from mediation to settlement. He sets reasonable expectations throughout every case so that clients make decisions that serve their long-term interests.

Our office is conveniently located off of Interstate 45 and Highway 249, just south of the Woodlands, about a block away from Farm To Market 1960.

We are located on the 9th floor of the Northwest Commerce building. Free parking is available for visitors. We frequently assist people with cases in Montgomery County and Harris County, as our office is located only 25 minutes from each County’s courthouse.
