About this firm

Leeds Brown Law, PC is a New York City area litigation firm committed to integrity, professionalism, vigorous advocacy and getting results in a variety of legal practice areas, particularly in the areas of civil rights and employment discrimination.

We are a small, close-knit group of lawyers who firmly believe in the benefits of teamwork. Rather than hiding behind our reputation, we prefer to keep the lines of communication with our clients open. By assigning a firm partner to manage each case, assisted by experienced associates, paralegals and other support staff, we make sure that clients will have someone who knows them and their case and is available to talk if they have questions or concerns. It also allows a more comprehensive analysis of the legal issues involved, more effective cost control and a more well-rounded decision-making process.

The keys to our success are clear. We work hard. For many of our attorneys, this law practice is the cornerstone of their lives. Our offices are open early in the day and stay open late into the evening, long after most other firms have turned off the lights and gone home. We do this willingly because of our commitment to client interests. When your interests are at stake, when it's you who has been the victim of employment discrimination at work - wouldn't you rather have a lawyer who is completely dedicated to their clients? The fact of the matter is that we love our work and find more than enough personal satisfaction and fulfillment in what we do. But hard work and dedication alone mean nothing without results. As a firm, we prepare individual lawsuits as well as large class actions for both state and federal courts. We take an aggressive approach to our cases, working to create as much leverage as possible to achieve clients' objectives quickly while avoiding the costs and risks of litigation. However, litigation cannot or should not be avoided in all cases. Partners Lenard Leeds, Jeff Brown and Rick Ostrove are all experienced litigators with major, highly publicized verdicts and settlements in the areas of employment law, civil rights, discrimination, sexual harassment and contested estates. We serve clients in Nassau County, throughout Long Island, elsewhere in the New York City area, and nationally as well.
