At the law firm of Lisa Jo Spencer, P.A., our mission is to help you successfully navigate the legal transitions involved when a loved one passes away or is no longer able to manage their own affairs. We understand that these situations, often complicated by grieving, can be stressful on many levels. Attorney Lisa Jo Spencer is committed to helping you understand the legal process, reduce your stress, and achieve the best resolution available as promptly and efficiently as possible.

Our Philosophy

Our choice of practice areas reflects our desire to help you and your family when you most need it. We want you to be able to concentrate on your family and your memories, free of worries about your loved one's estate or well-being.

Often, when clients reach out to us, there is a legal situation that needs urgent attention. It may be that a loved one living in Florida has passed away and all relatives are out of state. Or an elderly person may need help caring for themselves and their finances, and the family needs to consider a guardianship.

Whatever the circumstance, the first thing we do is assess your situation, including whether there is a need for the matter to go through probate. We take time to answer your questions and to offer you information about what you can expect as your case proceeds. If you reside out of town or outside Florida, you can rely on us to keep you informed about and connected to your case.

Matters handled in the Probate Court are complex, and usually require an attorney's involvement. However, depending on a number of factors, some clients need more assistance than others. Our goal is to provide as much or as little support as you need. Our billing is designed to reflect the amount of time we devote to a case, because we have found this system to be most fair and provide the most value to our clients. When your case concludes, we want you to feel that you got all the help you needed and that you were dealt with fairly.
