The Law Offices of LOUISE NEMSCHOFF represents a wide variety of institutional and individual clients in both domestic and international transactions in film, television, comic books and other publishing, animation and digital media, including online exploitation, mobile content and video games. The practice focuses on distribution, international co-productions, finance, production and rights licensing. With extensive experience in international transactions, the firm offers a unique perspective in bridging the gaps in cross-cultural business practices and expectations.

Ms. Nemschoff has published a number of articles and spoken extensively, both in the United States and Europe, on various aspects of entertainment law, including presentations at the Cannes Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, AFM, Rio Film Festival, MIP-TV, MIPCOM, MIDEM and the Electronic Media Conference of the Frankfurt Book Fair.

In addition to representing clients, Ms. Nemschoff mediates entertainment industry and intellectual property disputes and serves on the arbitration panel of the Independent Film and Television Alliance ("IFTA") International Arbitration Tribunal. She also sits on the IFTA Legal Committee as well as its Arbitration Advisory Committee, which oversees the organization's arbitration program. On the Legal Committee, she has been actively involved in the most recent revisions of the new IFTA Model International Licensing Agreements as well as its Sales Agency and Acquisition Agreements.

An active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Section, she served as its 1993-1994 Chair and completed a two-year term on the Board of Trustees of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Ms. Nemschoff has been active in a number of other professional organizations as well. In January 1993, she was elected to the Executive Committee of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers and continues to serve as U.S. liaison. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
