The law firm of Mayhall Fondren Blaize was established by merger of Mayhall & Blaize, L.L.C. and Frederic C. Fondren, APLC. In 2006, Kim G. Mayhall (JD-1978) and Charles G. Blaize, Jr. (JD-1998) established Mayhall & Blaize, L.L.C. with a primary focus on Louisiana mineral law. Frederic C. Fondren, APLC was an established insurance defense firm. The merger increased the litigation practice and added representation of service companies to complement the exploration and production representation. The attorneys of Mayhall Fondren Blaize handle a wide variety of complex litigation and mineral law issues.

The firm of Mayhall Fondren Blaize represents its clients to all four corners of the State of Louisiana, including its territorial waters, in matters including title examination, complex litigation, leasing issues, insurance defense claims, contracts, regulatory matters and disputes involving mineral law and land use issues. We provide sound legal advice, experienced negotiating skills, full service litigation needs, and effective dispute resolution in these matters.
