Loan Originations

For over 15 years, McCoy & Orta has served as loan origination counsel for one of the major Wall Street firms. Our attorneys have closed hundreds of conduit loans, ranging in loan amounts from $1 million to $25 million. The loans are secured by all property types including retail centers, office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, multifamily and industrial properties.

McCoy & Orta has distinguished itself in the CMBS industry as the only firm with a legal department dedicated solely to providing comprehensive loan transfer and document exception services. Today, McCoy & Orta serves as assignment counsel to almost every major CMBS mortgage seller in the industry.

Loan Servicing

McCoy & Orta's servicing attorneys handle a high volume of loan servicing transactions for the largest CMBS master servicers and special servicers in the industry. Our attorneys focus on complex loan assumptions as well as day-to-day routine borrower requests. McCoy & Orta is approved counsel for the Seller/Servicers of Freddie Mac Multifamily transactions, including the master servicers and sub-servicers of Freddie Mac K-deal securitizations.
