Merle, Brown & Nakamura, P.C. is a full service law firm located in downtown New York. We trace our founding back to 1983 when Pierre F.V. Merle entered private practice after ten years as General Counsel for a money transmitter and foreign payments business. Over the years, we have grown and expanded and have developed a broad, multi-jurisdictional practice reflecting a diverse and sophisticated group of foreign and domestic clients and broad and diverse subject matters. We handle matters in many areas of law including: state and federal civil litigation, alternative dispute resolution, money transmission, non-bank financial services, business and corporate, federal and state taxation, advising start-up businesses, contract drafting and negotiation, asset forfeiture, family law, state and federal regulation, appellate practice, real estate, estate planning and administration, labor and employment, co-operatives and condominiums, charitable organizations law and international legal matters.
