About this firm

Attorney Richard V. Stevens is a former active duty military JAG lawyer who, after separating from active duty, established his military defense law firm to represent military members stationed around the world who are facing court-martial trials, administrative discharge or separation, military investigations, military discipline, security clearance issues, and a variety of other military adverse actions. While he is, perhaps, best known for being a successful court-martial defense lawyer, Attorney Stevens and his firm handle all types of military adverse actions, including career specific actions such as Flying Evaluation Boards (for pilots and aircrew), medical privileging and de-credentialing actions (for medical providers), and also defending military law enforcement and JAG lawyers facing the loss of their credentials to serve within the military justice system. As a military defense lawyer, Attorney Stevens has been handling military cases, on and off active duty, since 1995. Over a legal career spanning more than 30 years, Attorney Stevens has dedicated himself to representing and defending those who defend us.
