After moving to the Triad in 2010, she attended Elon University School of Law. As a member of the Elon Law Innocence Project, she discovered her passion for defending the accused, also serving as an editor for the Elon Law Review and graduating cum laude in 2013. Morgan's career began at the Durham County Public Defender’s Office, where she advocated for juveniles facing charges ranging from drug possession to kidnapping. In 2016, she joined the Guilford County Public Defender’s Office, finding her home in Greensboro. Transitioning to private practice in 2022, Morgan brings a wealth of experience representing clients in various misdemeanors and felonies. She is committed to protecting her clients’ statutory and constitutional rights. As an adjunct professor at Elon Law School, she shares her unique skills in criminal law. Outside of her career, Morgan enjoys traveling and spending time with her two children.
