About this firm

I am committed to helping my clients find resolution to conflicts without going to court or resorting to the legal process. After many years of representing clients as a practicing attorney I saw how destructive the court system can be to important relationships and families. I founded O’Day Resolutions to provide solutions to families in need of legal services without wanting to go to court or engage in difficult, costly litigation.

I offer services including family and divorce mediations, parent coordination for the development and implementation of parenting plans, elder mediation to assist families to find appropriate transitions as parents age, trainings and coaching on negotiations & conflict resolution, and mediations related to educational and workplace conflict.

For couples that desire an amicable divorce, I can assist with mediation services that will allow the couple to reach an agreement and proceed to an uncontested divorce much faster and with less stress than a traditional contested divorce proceeding. For families trying to determine the best way to re-organize or disolve a family business I offer mediation services that will allow all parties to have a voice and reach a resolution that is acceptable to everyone without the need for legal intervention. I also work with families making difficult transitions or experiencing conflict as parents age.

I ensure that during all mediations and client meetings that everyone is as comfortable as possible. I will arrange meeting locations convenient to the parties and have access to conference facilitites through Manatee and Sarasota Counties. In some cases it is easier to hold the mediation in the elder family member’s home and this too can be arranged.
