Patzik, Frank & Samotny Ltd. was founded in early 1991 by a group of like-minded attorneys from larger firms, experienced in serving the needs of a sophisticated and demanding clientele, but seeking a more entrepreneurial approach to the practice of law.
PFS began as a corporate and securities law "boutique" firm representing clients in public securities offerings, mergers & acquisitions and other corporate matters. As in many industries, ours has witnessed a trend of law firms seeking to achieve rapid growth through consolidation. However, we have resisted this trend to pursue a strategy of measured, organic growth to expand the range of our legal services to meet the specific demands of our middle-market clientele. In this manner, we added real estate, litigation, intellectual property and employment law and estate planning practices to our corporate, securities and tax law practices.
Our careful growth strategy has resulted in firm continuity and preserved among our attorneys a shared sense of dedication and loyalty to our clients.
