About this firm

The Silberstein Law Firm, PLLC, was organized in 2011 by David M. Silberstein, who has practiced law for over 25 years. He is a Florida Bar Board Certified Tax Attorney and a Florida Bar Board Certified Wills, Trusts and Estates Attorney. David has held both of those Certifications since 1998, and is considered an expert in both of those fields of law by the Florida Bar.

Our firm focuses on legal advice for personal and business life-cycle events, involving estate planning, wills, trusts, probate and estates, corporate, partnership and business law, tax law, and estate, gift, and generation skipping tax law. We assist clients in planning for wealth transfers during life and at death (estate and gift tax planning), succession planning, preparation and review of various documents and techniques, including wills, revocable trusts, charitable trusts, life insurance and other irrevocable trusts, family limited partnerships, and the administration of trusts and estates after death (including probate). We advise clients in asset and stock purchases and sales, mergers, and other business transactions. Our practice further involves planning for the formation, acquisition, operation, sale and dissolution of corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, and limited liability limited partnerships.

Planning in these areas is personal to each client, requiring that we focus on each client's personal and financial goals and needs in addressing the client's legal needs. Our boutique practice allows us to focus on specific areas of law to better serve you. We work with each client's other professional advisors, including certified public accountants ('CPAs'), investment advisors, insurance agents, and realtors. We are AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, and involved in many state bar activities.

We have two offices to serve your needs, and are available for consultations and appointments. If you would like more information about our practice or scheduling an appointment, call us at your convenience. We look forward to the opportunity to assist you in planning, structuring, and organizing your personal and business affairs.

I have known David many years, in both a professional and personal capacity. He is very knowledgeable and well-regarded for his skill and expertise. We also serve on the Florida Bar Tax Section Executive Council and recently worked on a project submitting comments on proposed legislation to the IRS. As always, his comments were thoughtful and insightful. Read less
