Former New York State Civil Court Judge Robert M. Silverson, Jr. and Joseph T. Pareres founded the firm in 1992 with the goal of providing our clients with effective representation and quality service unmatched by any other firm in New York. Our third named partner, Victoria A. Lombardi, joined the firm in 1999 after a long career in medical malpractice defense with an equal commitment.
Silverson, Pareres & Lombardi provides full service litigation. Our primary focus is on medical malpractice defense, but as our firm has grown, so has our client base and focus. Our other practice areas include construction litigation, insurance defense litigation, nursing home negligence litigation and representation of physicians in disciplinary matters.
Our attorneys have years of experience in complex litigation and trial practice. In addition to providing excellent legal representation, we also assist our clients by conducting risk management seminars and lectures.
Our firm is involved in the defense of cases involving explosions, toxic exposure, and catastrophic events involving multi-party plaintiffs. We also defend complex construction cases involving personal injuries, environmental and property damage claims.
Silverson, Pareres & Lombardi is based in Manhattan, but our practice expands to all five New York City Boroughs, as well as Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk Counties and Federal court. However, we do not confine our practice solely to the New York area, and have traveled to other jurisdictions, including Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Our firm is renowned for our skill and determination in fighting for our clients.
